BLOSSOM : Bankable Transformative Climate Solutions to Improve Sustainable Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Measures.

Plegma Labs is proud to participate in BLOSSOM. The project introduces a systemic approach that links public authorities with private partners to cope with the disconnections and gaps related to the adoption of bankable transformative adaptation and mitigation measures. By fostering collaboration through Living Labs and Communities of Practice, and leveraging AI, digital twins, and innovative financing schemes, BLOSSOM empowers local communities and stakeholders to co-design, test, and implement scalable solutions that are financially viable, socially inclusive, and environmentally resilient. 

Plegma Labs will lead the process of managing data, including its discovery, analysis, and harmonization, in order to simplify access to data, effectively addressing all issues that result in the isolation of data, while supporting the implementation of various project objectives. Specifically, Plegma Labs will assume (i) the data collection from diverse data sources (i.e.  EO/satellite, public open data, crowdsourced data, sensor data, statistical data etc.), (ii) the data harmonisation & standardisation using common data models and standards while ensuring cross-system interoperability, eliminating data silos, (iii)  data privacy and protection through the anonymisation of sensitive data in compliance with privacy regulations, (iv) the implementation of data security & access control, (v) the data analysis & visualisation, and (vi) the provision of trusted infrastructure for data sharing, allowing for interaction through common APIs with EU data space initiatives for scalable, long-term use.
