eco-bot: Technology for the Active Engagement of Consumers Towards Sustainable Energy
Plegma Labs has joined as technical managers the eco-bot project which aims to utilize recent advances in chatbot tools and advanced signal processing (i.e. energy disaggregation) using low-resolution smart meter-type data with the goal of changing their behavior towards energy efficiency. Eco-Bot targets to a personalized virtual energy assistant to deliver information on itemized (appliance-level) energy usage through a chat-bot tool.

ChArGED: CleAnweb Gamified Energy Disaggregation
Plegma Labs is very proud to be part of the ChArGED project addressing energy consumption in public buildings. ChArGED proposes a framework that aims to facilitate achieving greater energy efficiency and reductions of wasted energy in public buildings. The framework leverages IoT enabled, low-cost devices (NFC or iBeacons) to improve energy disaggregation mechanisms that provide energy use and -consequently- wastage at the device, area and end-user level.

Hardware accelerated energy disaggregation for energy efficiency and predictive maintenance applications
Plegma Labs is sponsoring the first of its kind (in Greece) Industrial Ph.D. in partnership with the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, the Aegean University and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The PREDIVIS project explores hardware accelerated energy disaggregation for energy efficiency and predictive maintenance applications and is being carried out by Sarantis Kotsilitis, our Head of Technology.
